ipod woes

I recently bought the connect2 setup to run my ipod in the glove box and all was well,now its started
just playing the first 2-3 seconds of every track when its on shuffle.
 ipod works fine on all other docking stations.anybody any ideas.

Do you have the "scan" button on the radio down? I think if you press the right knob down it will play the first few seconds of the song..

Put it in CD mode so it has the 6 CDs displayed, you get a few seconds of timeout before it says "NO CD"... press play on your iPod and then plug it in, does that work? Press mix on the headunit.. what happens then?

It now seems to be just doing it when the ipod is fully charged but will try your suggestions.
