I am hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this problem
,
My 2006 A3 BKD tdi 140 seems to have lost all boost after i removed my egr cooler and fitted my DD egr delete pipe, i have replaced ALL vacuum hoses coming from the solenoid valve block on bulkhead, and i cant find any vac leaks :( , the turbo actuator still moves freely and easily, i had a friend tap gas pedal whilst i watched actuator look like it was moving when its supposed to, vcds codes are 16683/p0299/000665(boost pressure regulation :control range not reached),
Turbo is a CRturbo hybrid unit which has done 7000miles trouble free untill i removed the egr parts, when removing egr cooler i snagged the vacuum hose from tandem pump to brake booster but this hose was re attached, after removal of egr parts im sure i heard a VERY faint siren sound arround 90 seconds after start up,
I have heard a few horror stories when this sound can be heard :(
tomorrow when i have access to a ramp i will remove all intake pipework and check for any mis-happs, i will also make sure turbo wheel spins,
I have also changed the solenoid valve block with a mates working unit which did no good :(
any ideas ?
