I think you've missed the point of a watermark entirely with yours... What's the point in it? Its no more a watermark than a graphic in the corner of the photo... I can edit that out and use your photo in 30 secs tops.
Not at all, I understand watermarks and there usage in all different media formats. If you’re selling to the public then the need of a “monster” watermark (like yours) is needed so the image isn’t ripped off.
But when trying to capture peoples eye with the image you produce, the last thing you want is an over the top watermark which distracts and ruins the photo produced.
With the right software anyone can remove a watermark be it a simple logo in the corner or one which is placed through the entire image.
Someone might be able to reproduce one of my images in 30 seconds without the watermark, but my lawyer would be dropping them a DMCA Infringement notice and bill the for use of the said image if someone did.
