I agree theres no way thats a wet weight. Its got to be heavier than the GTI for starters. Bigger brakes and haldex will make sure of that.

I much preferred the twin pipes of the previous Rs. A pipe per cylinder just seems OTT to me.

If the Golf R isnt priced properly, then many people will with the base S3 starting at just over £29k!!
