slight hesitancy on ignition
« on: April 17, 2013, 01:28:32 pm »
Over the last two days, I've noticed an issue with starting up the car. It takes a fraction of a second longer to turn over and in the brief milliseconds before idle at 1200rpm, the revs drop down to 400 or so. No false starts, drives fine but occurs on each start up (car has been unused for hours each time).

Any thoughts?
Battery?
Coilpacks were replaced a few years back but not eligible when under warranty.
Sparkies were done almost a year ago by Alex.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
