Edit; i slightly miss read your post, it would be good to see a comparison between the 2 shell fuels. Atleast the vid proves these fuels work abit

I got the bonus points email today too.  It seems that there will be no performance benefit of any kind, they have just altered the additives to protect the engine a bit more. It's only a good thing I suppose, just as long as the price stays the same!

I noticed there was a NITRO DIESEL option at the pumps today (not sure how long that's been there, don't normally look at that filthy stuff - lol), but still vPower on the Petrol pump.  A race gas pump would do well I think 102+ Octane.

Meh, hardly seems worth it... unless that's their standard Super unleaded. :pomppomp:

Nope, not the standard. Petrol can be confusing there though. What petrol stations call ordinary unleaded there is only about 92 ron , then they call 95 ron Super unleaded and what is 97 or higher ron is called Super Plus unleaded. Then just to mix it up even more, Shell offer that 100 ron racing Vpower as well.

So not really worth the extra 10p per litre then. I still run standard shell unleaded on my car, I tried the vpower but noticed no difference whatsoever

Basically sales of V Power are low so Shell are re branding it to initiate more sales. I'm not doubting that the fuel has been improved as they said it has, but will we ever notice or see any benefit? I seriously doubt it.

Really? Against Shell? Annual profits of circa £17bn

Just blew about £30's worth of the stuff....................didn't feel any different to Tesco 99 or an other fuel we get here for that matter.

Nice weather though!  :happy2:

I can definitely tell the difference between 95 and 99, feels much more zippy with vPower. S2 K03.
Does no one else think there's a difference?
