Garage in Southwest for gearbox rebuild....?
« on: April 21, 2013, 08:51:55 am »
As above, need my gearbox rebuilding as I have some horrific noises coming from it, dont exactly know what the problems are but im pretty sure its gearbox related...

Can anyone reccomend any garages in the Southwest region that do rebuilds? - I literally have no clue where to go...

Many thanks guys :)

Take it to Dayspeed on Henstridge Trading estate and tell him (James Day) that Andy Rowlands sent you. He has done work on my GTR including rebuilding the gearbox amongst other work and will do a good job for you.  :happy2:

This is quite possibly the best response I could have hoped for, I live in Templecombe,  As I don't exactly know what the issue is I had planned on booking it in to Dayer this week for a service and getting him to have a look and hopefully point me in the right direction for a re-build, I didn't realise he done them himself?

with labour costs of £36 inclusive of VAT, Dayer definately is my first choice for work as he knows his stuff too!
