MOBILE PHONES ON DASH!?
« on: April 22, 2013, 05:43:43 pm »
I've recently seen quite a few gtis for sale with those rather large mobile phone shaped things stuck onto the dash just to the left of the cd/radio.

Does anyone know how they are fixed? and whether there will be a massive hole left if they are removed? they look awful and I'm guessing that if removed the hole is massive?!

Thanks,

Nick

from what i remember they are held on with a metal arm that secured down the side of the HU so you cant see any hole once removed.

Why don't people remove them when trying to sell their cars then?
There is a blue one for sale on this forum in Surrey with one fitted, I really like the car, but it doesn't look like it has any metal bracket holding it on?!

As an extra "feature".

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
