Firstly Hi to everyone.
Well my wife and used to own a Mk4 GTi, we bought the 2.0cc model instead of the 18.T which I think in hindsight was a big mistake. Anyway we sold that and have been looking at buying a fully loaded 3 door steel grey Mk5 Gti.
After several weeks of searching and using this forum for some really good information and tips. We finally purchased the car. The differnce between the MK4 and Mk5 is like night and day (no offence to any current mk4 owners just my personal opinion)
So now we have a 5 door, mk5 GTi in Candy white with 18" Monzas. Its a 2006 model with DSG paddleshift, sat nav, heated leather seats, sunroof, heated and retractable wing mirrors, Bi Xenons (I think) 40,000 miles with full service history and all the usual extras.
It wasnt quite the car we set out to purchase in the beginning but what a car nevertheless ? However, with 3 kids as well we couldnt really buy a 2 door car could we ?. Maybe in a few years perhaps.
