xenons adjustment?
« on: August 01, 2009, 11:36:49 am »
I got my coilovers fitted on monday and since then it seems as though the lights  dont project so far in front as before. Is there any way to adjust them so they look a little further in front?

I assume you just alter the beam height setting ?

Don't have xenons so could be wrong. Not quite sure what you mean other than beam height :stupid:

There is no height adjuster in the cabin on Xenon headlights, they have a sensor on the rear axel and auto level  :happy2:

When I had mine lowered it took a couple of days for them to sort themselves out, are they still doing the up and down dance when you switch them on?

I love xenons, they are amazing, how much does the full thing cost from a dealer... with autoadjustment.. the whole lot ?

Over £1000 right ?

This is a mod i might save up and get

....

How difficult is it to fit Xenons to a Golf Mk5 which didn't have them originally? Meaning so it includes autolevelling etc.

You need to check if the levellers at the rear have been re-installed correctly as if they have been put on the wrong way you get symptoms like you are describing.

Yeah they still do the "dance", But arent adjusting up high enough it seems. when they are on the pattern from each light isnt merging correctly either, Although i think this is a direct result of them not adjusting up correctly
