What next after gti/ ed 30 etc.
« on: April 24, 2013, 11:05:42 am »
Actually used to own a r32 dsg, but changed it for a 5 series touring as needed the space with 2 kids

Now I'm thinking ahead, IF I can change back to something fun and practical what to go for, hence asking what gti members get next?

TBH it would have to be ed 30 as like the tune ability from a remap if it was a golf, but these are still tidy money for what's getting to be as an older car

MKV Golf DSG

I'm really enjoying my E46 330Ci. Very different to my MK5's, but good rear wheel drive fun, and the noise is wonderful.

Great stop gap until I can afford an Ed30.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

^ interesting you yearn an Ed.30 whilst still in the honeymoon period of 330ci ownership.

VAG through and through mate. The Bimmer is a temporary car for 6-12 months. I had a 3k budget after buying a new van and it was basically this or a V6 4Motion, but I've already had one of those. The E46 330 was on my car list. It's lovely and I'm really enjoying it, but It's no Golf GTi.

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
