Laser Diffusers/jammers
« on: April 28, 2013, 03:52:47 pm »
Totally random question, are they legal? To own? Install?

Father-in-law gave me a boxed one to sell and not sure if i should.
It's a snooper sld 920x or also called Blinder M10 twin.

Thanks in advance

Remove the --- to see the link. Basically people have been prosecuted for using these.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Can you confirm that it works?

Come to the next South Mimms meet and we'll get JonnyM to "borrow" some equipment and test it in the car park!  :driver:

They work with mobile speed traps (i.e. hairdryers) but not with Gatso's or ANPR's obviously.

Plus, if a copper holding his speed gun gets a consistent 'Error' message on his device, he may well pack up his kit and come chasing you...

I don't think the 'garage door opener' excuse works these days  :fighting:

Its all in the box new and untouched, so probably yeah. (box is old)
South Mimms is far away from me so not possible.

Not sure what to ask for this either, it retailed at £299.
Would anyone want it on here?

i know someone thats got one  that has a switch and a audible buzzer that goes off when it detects the laser. the idea is when you hear the buzzer you flick the switch to turn off and slow down then when the officer tries again he gets a reading instead of a error
