Got some issues with my box, anyone know what I should expect to pay for a complete overhaul of my exsisting GB?

Probably worth getting a refurbished one and yours in exchange.

remember when i had my mk3 gti, the reverse gear kept popping out.
anyway, had the reverse cog and a ball joint replaced which cost in the region of 300-400 quid.
can't remember how much the parts were.
think they had the car for 2-3days as well

hope you can gauge a price from this?
i'd guess you'll be spending 500+?!?!?

Definitely look for a replacement box if you can.

My 6sp Passat had the notorious diff bearing whine. Couple of forum members tried eBay ones and ended up with the same problem.

I bit the bullet and paid £900 drive-in, drive-out at a place near Gatwick.
