Numberplate lights

I got some led bulbs for numberplate lights on my mk5 r32 but they wen out 3 week later worked in other places in car just not  numberplate! What do you guys recomend? What have u got please ? OEM bulbs lets car down   :stupid:

Mk6 oem LED number plate light's are what I have,plug and play when all you have to do is get the cold lamp check on startup turned off via vagcom and that's it,they are expensive though... :smiley:

I always preferred the 18 smd strip of lights. No flickering problems and Much brighter

Depends which year and controller your car has. I had the mk6 led's and even with the lights disabled it still through a fault code  :sad1:
