VW Factory Dresden *Must See*
« on: May 03, 2013, 10:28:08 pm »
As a petrol head you may have seen this one before....but isn't it sad?  Where did the UK motor industry go wrong?  Red Robbo and his union mates, incompetent management, idiotic politicians with their misguided subsidies, or what?

Want to see why the Germans have a positive trade balance, in spite of paying workers some of the highest wages in the world?

This is quite incredible and worth watching all the way through  :happy2:

It could never happen here....  "Elf ‘n Safety" wouldn’t allow those moving objects (including overhead heavy objects) with not a hard hat to be seen – nor a high-vis jacket

W O W !!!!

Stunning!  :notworthy:

If you ever get the chance to visit Wolfsburg you must spend at least half a day visiting Volkswagen's Autostadt.

Enjoyed watching the video many thanks.

How come they make it look so easy to put a car together as repairing them is not that easy!

Good to watch, not that dissimilar to JLR in Solihull tbh,no hi vis or hard hats on the lines there either only safety glasses an essential. The auto trolleys are at Aston Martin at Gaydon, the only thing we are missing is the giant car parks but we have the M25
