Sat nav issues
« on: May 04, 2013, 01:23:23 pm »
Got a bit of a problem, my headunit thinks i am 20miles away from where i actually am. Was working fine for 10mins into the journey then couldnt keep track of where i was and started floating away into a field. Checked and im only getting 0-2 satellites but 11 are visible?! Iv tried resetting the unit but that didnt work. My gps could have moved / broken i suppose. Anything else i can try?

What version maps you on?

Could try looking at where the antenna is placed.  Could have moved.

Or try taking the car for a long drive.  Should fix itself.

When u have yr satnav up, press Maps I think it is, then a pop up appears on top left of screen, then scroll along the pop up till Satellites appear and it tells u how many! Well thats what mine does anyway, lol!
