Coil pack recall - Engine codes

Happy Summer Everyone!

A few months back I found a thread on here listing the engine codes that are legible for the coil pack recall.  I simply cannot find that thread any more.. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also, is there any other recalls or VW funded work that I could maybe take advantage off?

Just phone VW to ask if there is any outstanding recalls on your car. will prob need your chassis number to hand

IIRC it's cars upto 2006 that are eligible for the recall. If your unsure ring up your local dealer and ask

2.0 TFSI the affected engine codes:

AXX-BGB-BHZ-BPG-BPJ-BUL-BWA-BWE-BWT-BYK-BYD

Ignition coils with part number- 07K 905 715F, 07K 905 715D, 06H 905 115, 06F 905 115F do not need replacing as they are not affected if your ignition coil isn't one of the above part numbers they will be replaced with the revised part 07K 905 715F.

I think it depends on dealer tho I have been in twice spoke to different people and my axx GTI 2005 hasn't got any out standing and I have had it a while.

It doesn't mean all engines above will be affected, just those ones that don't have the coil packs listed above.
