Advice guys!! non gti with gti bumper help

guys -

im looking to put a Gti bumper on a non gti

one issue - -
(may make me look stupid) 

If i put just the front bumper on (as its all i can afford straight away) will it look stupid? i.e, will the front lip be a lot lower than the rear and the sides of the car?

I don't think the GTI sideskirts make the sides that much lower - if your really concerned, wait until you've got everything and fit all at the same time. :happy2:

I'm pretty sure it'll look just fine as your fitting oem and not a 'jelly mould' after market jobbie  :happy2:

The GTI bumper is the same as the GT bumper (GTI has an additional lower front splitter so it makes it look a wee bit lower). The GT doesn't come with side skirts so it'll look fine. Only GTI nerds will notice!

If you're going the GTI replica route, then the sideskirts and rear valence will finish it off. And they're matt black plastic and genuine ones are plentiful on ebay so that'll be the easy bit.

Have a look at my sig, the blue mk5 had a GT bumper on and wasn't lowered & no side skirts.

I never considered it looking lower than the rest to be honest.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Not sure if I want the full replica - just love the gti front :)

Hopefully picking the bumper up this week

Just need to get it painted and then ill post some pics when it's up!
