would a set off 35et 17inc 7.5j / 8.5j wide fit ok?

as above guys do reckon they would fit okay or not standard break set up on golf V any picture would be very helpful
7.5j front
8.5j rear

Sure - shouldn't see any issues there - what tyres you going with? 205/45 on front and 215/45 on the back maybe??

Shouldn't be any tyre-bodywork issues, just check your brakes clear

Yes they will fit you will need 205/40s at the front, problem is in 17s you can't find the tyres you want.. No decent narrow 17" tyres available.  :sick:
