« on: May 30, 2013, 12:41:03 pm »
In the next few weeks ill be looking to get rid of the dpf and getting a map on my '08 2.0 gt tdi 170 and have a few questions

will the standard clutch be up to it?

and which are the better companys to look at as i'v heard of regen issues with some.

based in cheshire (dont mind travelling a bit)

cheers,

Carbon Chiptuning are near you in Altrincham I believe and have done a lot of research into the 2.0 TDI engine. One the main guys name is Craig I think. I've not used them personally but have spoken to those who have and they are rated highly. They are forum sponsor over on golfgtiforum.co.uk.

I'm currently running a Darkside Developments DPF delete pipe along with full Milltek and Shark Stage 2 remap and standard clutch is fine  :happy2:
