ED30 - one alloy damaged - any advice?
« on: May 20, 2013, 02:11:22 pm »
Hi all...  Driver side front alloy on my ED30 (standard 18" BBS Pescara?) seems to have picked up 2 'dents' (see pics) - I can only think a pothole is to blame, but don't recall going over one!  Noticed a 'juddering' when braking recently (not pads or discs), and the garage tried moving the wheel to the back, but the problem persists, and their advice was to buy a new alloy at ~£500!

Is there any place I can take the wheel to be straightened out/fixed (I'm in Manchester)?

If I have to replace one alloy, is there a market for 'singles'?  I've seen all four for about £600 on ebay....

Many thanks for any suggestions...

Cheers

Find local wheel refurbishers and see?
Or buy a used set of wheels from Ebay or owners site? ..

Find a big pothole and photograph it and send it off to the local council
