Hey All...

Hey guys and girls...

Just wanted to say hello as a new member, might be a bit premature with the membership as I'm currently on the mk4 platform, but have the old girl up for sale at the moment in preparation to making the move to a not so mpg friendly 2lt T..
Thought I would have a look around and see what people are doing to the mk5's....

Well an up date is required as I'm now officially a mk5 Gti owner (well collection on Tuesday, as it needs to be taxed)

Anni has gone and after looking at 3 mk5s that weren't up to scratch, I found this one...

Are you based in cumbria, did you have the anni advertised on pistonheads?

Anni looked very tidy, still miss mine  :happy2:

Yeah he's up here in Cumbria too. Miss my Anni too, it was reliable as a wood burning stove and looked great.

Yeah that's me, she was up on piston heads, got a lot of interest and a lot of time wasters. But sold fairly quick, I do miss it as it was nailed together well, but the mk5 arrives tomorrow so see what I can make of this... I say,"I".. but it's mainly me turning up to FOGGY3061 house and saying "please can you make mine like yours.. Haha..!!
Yeah I followed your old anni on ukmkivs and it was one nice piece of kit...

Anni sold.

Mk5 Gti now sat in the garage filling the Anni's shoes nicely...

Yeah I got mine powder coated by aerocoat like a lot of the anni owners, and the finish was brilliant.. Just the right mix of dark at night and high powered shine in the sun light.. Loved and missed motor
