Keeping it clean!

So I gave my GTi a good scrub at the weekend as it really needed it
Wash
Clay Bar
Wash
Autoglym SRP
Poorboys Black Hole
Poorboys Natty Paste
Car looked pretty good afterwards but now a few days on some dust has started to collect on it and a few water drops
What do you guys do to clean after doing a detail? Can I just wash it with my normal car shampoo and dry it off? I presume that won't take off the layer of wax that is currently on there?

A normal maintenance shampoo should be fine. The wax layer will degrade over time so it's worth topping up every 4-8 weeks depending on the wax.
I tend to snowfoam, rinse, shampoo, rinse, dry and then run over with a quick detailer.

Snow foam it with a DECENT snow foam not a SHOW foam.
Jet off.
Towel dry
Carnuba based QD
20 minutes, clean car. Wax Safe.
