Volkswagen Driver Magazine May '11
« on: May 24, 2013, 12:58:21 am »
Anyone got this mag lying about and could scan the Ohlins Suspension story for a Mk5 onto here?

It looks from the brief preview shown on the magazine's website (with text so small you cannot read it) that it was fitted to the old 'Red Temptress' in the feature, but I could have got that wrong.

Cheers.

I thought the temptress originally had KW V3 setup and then changed to the ASTs, or is that something SteveP did when he bought it.

Yea I think they got good ish review I'm sure they were the dampers and add your own spring set up !
At the time ohlins only sold the damper set up (not coilovers) where you add lowering springs of your choice, these were not supplied with the dampers I'm sure I was quoted £1150 for the dampers put once I'd realised they were not the fully blown set up I didn't Persue it further.

I'm sure the road and track coilovers are out now but are well over 2k -
