« on: August 07, 2009, 10:31:36 pm »
Yes - i bet this topic has come up many a times...

My Pirelli doesnt come with Xenons... and i would love them...

I want the real deal too with the level adjusters... does anyone know what VW would charge for xenon lamps + fitting and everything else such as level adjusters ?

Sorry if this has been mention before

Not read the thread linked but I'm sure it will tell you that the kit is available from Kufatec, not cheap for the headlights I might add.  I very much doubt a VW franchised dealer would want to get involved.

Rich, IMHO I think you should just take delivery of the car and see how you find the standards. They are easily and cheaply upgradeable as I have done with my ED30.

No need to throw bucketfulls of cash at it..........................

Ive had Xenons on my last 5 cars, even having adaptive xenons on my RS4, so to come to an ED30 without, what a bit of a shock.  However, I have just upgraded to Osram Nigh beaters and they make all the difference - No need for xenons now

Hi Zub Rich,

Full Beam and Dipped Main Beam are seperate H7 Bulbs, to be honest its not really worth chaning the full Beam, but the dipped makes a big diference.

I would upgrade your sidelights (5W) to Osram's or Philipps too as your standard ones will look very yellow against the Night Breakers, there was a post on the same subject earlier in the week too,

Rich

They are about £2000 last time someone checked mate. To be done legally with the level adjusters etc  :surprised:

To pass an MOT levelers and washers are not needed! I am considering getting some for my golf! If they are adjusted correctly you will pass. The actual Xenon's go for around £400 on ebay! :drinking:

The headlight washers are expensive to fit, also the self leveling height adjuster.

Yes but they are not needed for the MOT so alot of people do not use them. As long as they are adjusted correctly you will pass!  :happy2:
