100% fine   just use your fuel pressure sensor and map sensor.

Any specific reason for going CDL?

Problems with the BWA? Desire to push things further?

I think this may have something to do with his desire...

it will need to be tweaked as different compression ratio, but your get more power out of it.

I changed from a bwa to a cdl.

You may have problems along the way but put it all down to experience... You will learn a lot, and what a journey!

 :happy2:

Good luck!

You will never look back  or maybe you will but soon to realise you made the right choice.!

Yeah that's the reason for going cdl
As I smoked my my last engine through a stupid mistake. It threw about 6 of the rockers off which jammed th valves so that bent them. And also jammed the intake cam which in turn snapped the sprocket of the exhaust cam at th cam chain end. Oh and blew a couple of holes in the intake.  So well in truly stuffed it.

Yeah I thought I would have a go. It doesn't seem that bad. Took 4 hours to get to that stage. Getting my new engine on wendsday. So il transfer all my parts and fit the new one on Saturday. I'm debating wether to stick a new helix clutch in though as seen as its out it would take minutes. But it's more expense.  The new motor is from a tts same as s3 so I'm hoping it will be ok. It comes with a clutch on it anyway but I don't no if there a stronger clutch than my standard bwa one or the same.

Some pics
Of
The damage done to old engine. Snapped sprocket of exhaust cam at cam chain end. Also 2 bent intake valves.

Could of been repaired  but thought may as well go the whole way.

Snapped the top of the valve off too!

Good effort.
