I would have thought the two clutches are the same, if you could stick an upgraded one in, that would be the way forward  :happy2:

as the sub frame needs dropping out to install the new one .
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

Yeah iv seen your build thread James. Car is epic. Bet thats fun to drive.
Iv took your advice and just ordered a 400 ftlb Sachs cover plate and friction disc. Still going to use my dual mass flywheel though.

As the car has been sat gathering dust whilst he's in NZ, I reckon he's forgotten how it drives  :signLOL:

Any reason for sticking with the DMF? I'm going SMF at the end of the month.

No real reason for keeping my dual mass. Just easier and cheaper I guess. Plus there's plenty on here with organic clutches with dual mass and they seem fine. If I was going big power then I would get a solid one.

Engine all fitted but got a problem. Iv set my revo map back to stock on the sps. The car will not go past 4k rpm. Soon as it hits 4k the revs plummet super fast and you can hear the dv dumping. Iv fitted my g247 and map sensor from my bwa. I hope I ent been stung with a dodgy engine.

As far as I know dude, it's needs to be mapped to suit the new engine, turbo, injectors etc... Revo stage 3 !

Have you spoke to Revo about this yet?

 :happy2:

Hope you get it sorted soon.

iirc fuelling is slightly different with the new engine so something to explore...
Without traction power is nothing!
