If you "win" the court case, how the hell do you get the money out of him?
Says he'll pay , but never does...£1 a week....bloke needs to be locked up....inform the police mate.
He either pays up in full or claims he can't afford it and its paid in installments which are collected via the courts. I don't care as long as I get my money back and cause the pikey plenty of hassle. My solicitor mate assures me it's a civil case and its not worth going to the police.

I see you say its not worth going to the police, but this type of person is never going to stop doing stuff like this. I think you should at least make the police aware of the situation and inform them, showing them all your evidence/info etc. It will then be up to them to do with it as they see fit.

I know someone who had the same happen to them and decided to pay the person a visit. Fortunately they weren't at their said home address and when the police were informed they had already started gathering evidence and carrying out their own investigations.

People like this need shooting  :fighting:

Put his name and address, phone number online. Then we can all order pizzas, subway, takeaways and taxi to his house. Oh and phone him night and day, there's enough of us doing shift work to keep it up night and day. He's a scumbag and I'm gutted for you pal.

This was his address in 2005, no doubt still lives at home with his parents.

LOL. Maybe you could turn up at his place with a cauldron full of boiling Castrol Edge.

The accused and the accuser both have to retrieve an item (perhaps a rev C diverter valve) from the boiling oil, with the person or persons whose hand remains unscathed being declared innocent.

^^^Does it have a Milltek catback fitted?

Would the op be within his rights to bring a trolley jack, spanner set and some mates around to remove it? He has paid for it after all.

A trolley jack might be a bit much. Just grab a few guys and tip the car on its side.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
