Newbie! Help Needed

Hi Guys,


So had a few cars.

Corsa C
BMW 330Ci
Ibiza Bocanegra (Current Car)

I'm looking at a GTi Mk5 (Obviously)

The car is Grey, Has Ed30 Front and rear bumpers

Also the numberplate is private! Don't know if anybody would recognise it off here at all.

Are Xenons an easy Retrofit? Again how much and where from?

The car still has the standard chin spoiler and not an edition 30 spoiler. it doesn't have an ed30 rear bumper either.
Thats a very low spec car. Doesn't have any extras to it. I would look for something with 18's , xenons, maybe try a DSG car if you haven't already.

17's not the 18's

Poverty spec inside no extras.


The rear is a r32 lower bumper with a different valence.

The front is just a gti front with colour coded splitter

Colour coded side skirts.


I'd look elsewhere as to me 9k is a lot for a car with no extras

I was struggling.

Just keep searching piston heads, ebay. Autotrader and on here until you find one you like. Satnav is a pretty easy retrofit as it mfsw - more so if you get a dsg. Xenons on the other hand are not so easy so if you want them I would buy a car with them already - would cost £500 ish to retrofit plus the skills.

Bits like cruise, armrest etc are easy to get done so wouldn't worry as much about those. 17s or 18s is a personal choice an again easy to change
