I was at the same path as you mate but my Eddie has only 51k on the clock,but fancied a change,was looking at golfR & rs3s but prices are still steep (golfR=24k min,rs3 32k min) ended up putting a deposit down on a e90 2011 bmw 335d msport(don't shout at me guys)got a really good deal at the stealers for px..

You wont be disappointed  with the 335d the torque is fabulous  and if you get it mapped  it will frighten you !
