Loving the Colour Purple Jay :happy2:

Reminds me of the purple that Lamborghini used to have on the Diablo.

Thanks mate, glad you like it. It's a bit different from the norm  :happy2:

Yeah that Lambo is pretty similar color! It's a classy colour  :signLOL:

Thanks mate.

You wanted more rim fix, well here you go.  :happy2:

I picked the faces up this morning from Nick@Detail My Car. Top lad really nice guy as mentioned.

Got the barrels, some threadlock and some tools and started to put them all together.

So we started here.

We ended up over mhere.

Waiting for my longer wheel bolts to arrive from DPM (latest on Wednesday) and I'm having the tyres fitted on Monday, so we should be good to go in time for Inters
I put all the metal spigots in as well today so we will be ready to bolt on!

Yeah! They're alright for a self-done jobby. I'd say 7.5 out of 10, I might get them chrome plated next season  :happy2:

That's wicked! We've had summer for the next 5 years though :( !

Sorry I thought I replied yesterday!

Don't curse it!! Weather has been lovely lately all things considered! I need the next week and at least until Inters to be nice!  :signLOL:

Exactly that. :)

The Sessantas also run quite "wide" anyway so going for a 35 profile wouldn't cause an issue.

I didn't want "massive" stretch but needed a bit of extra space. I'll be looking into rolling the arches but I'm getting two new front wings from VW under warranty at the end of the month, possibly along with a bonnet and bumper respray.
So I would get them rolled afterwards with the fresh paint.

Cool.

Are the arches bad? How have you found VW with the claim? I had some on the Mk4 but they said was paint defect not corrosion so never paid out.

Ehm, they're bad enough for me to notice, or if you are under the car, you can see where the paint has chipped off.
I found VW a pain (again) - I went through the process on my old car, and this one (so twice now) and eventually managed to get them to cop up to 100%.

I had to get a case reference from VW main office, I also wrote an email to the global CEO and the MD of VW UK - I have not heard anything back from either e-mail but have since had the 100% "goodwill contribution" come through.

Officially it's 70% from VW and 30% from my local dealer but I'll take it any way it comes.

Would love one but don't have the money at the moment.

Because of this..

It's very long as we did a full write up which I won't post here as it's about 50 pictures but you can read it here..

 I'll just leave this here.
