Got this through and fitted yesterday...

Sounds great and adds some good throttle response especially at higher RPM. Love the warppshhh noise.

Would you be interested in selling the cover on the bottom right hand side of the photo?
I think it's the air duct cover

yeah I should know better!
It looks so peng though especially for the pictures
don't tell anyone okay?
Seats looking good Jay!  Got any more pictures of them?

nah mate sorry not really taken any hah

unfortunately today some prick crashed into my car when it was parked out of the way, infront of my mums house, in a quiet respectable residential street - damaged the wing and the wheel.

Paint has been scuffed off the wing, it's dented way beyond repair (there are also creases further along the wing where it meets the sill, what I saw in the light that originally made me think "hang on it looks wrong"). Where it's pushed the bumper down there's now a gap along between the wing and the bumper and headlight (which I've managed to help fix by bending the panel back slightly) and the wheel is covered in silver paint and has some scuff marks on it.

Pissed off is not the word.
I had the whole front end, bonnet, wings, bumper and BOTH doors all painted and blended in so the colour match was spot on about 6-8 months ago, and about a month ago had the rest of the paintwork done from Lemass... why...........

Pretty sure we know who it was, my mum spotted an Espace or a Scenic which belongs to a neighbours friend , who is a childminder at home and has people coming in and out all day) - she admitted someone had a silver car - it was silver that hit my car - as well as the black plastic trims on the rear bumper of the espace matching up in terms of height to the damage on the car.
A sh*t storm will come down when I see the car next.

Gonna call about tomorrow to get it fixed, probably at Lemass again, feel like someone's stabbed me in the heart lol... oh well. She'll be fixed and back to her good self ASAFP.

I have exactly the same problem Jay, yesterday some idiot hit my car and ran off now theres a gap between the bumper and headlight and my wing is dented and creased :indifferent:

how much? + how long? did it take to be fixed?

New wing and paint came to around £350 as an estimate from Lemass I also got them to paint the door for blending purposes and this also included a new door rub strip.
I can't tell you the exact price because I get bits done in bulk from them so pay an overall figure we don't bother breaking it down.

Hi no sorry they're a right pig to get hold of and when/if i return her to standard i don't want to be faffing around for parts .

best bet is a breakers yard if you need one they're all the same. (well tdis and the larger petrols).

haha sorry  :booty: :booty:

It's great man wish I had got the performance kit the adjustable camber would be sweet. will be upgrading to them soon i think.

Love the progress : )

Thanks bud it's coming together now.

Still plenty to do though..

Bit annoyed as I bought some Hertz ESK163L speakers from Car Audio Security, I was told they'd be a "direct fit" and they aren't. So the tweeters and larger speakers are in but the mids don't fit so I currently have no front mids. Pretty pissed off but hey that's life Jairm will sort it out for me.

Need to buy a 4ch amp to run the door speakers anyway to make the most of it.
Want to redesign the boot build completely to incorporate the audio stuff .

Got interior retrim as well and the Mercedes to go on hopefully have them on Mid June time as still waiting on the paint from America which is the only place to get it as it's special order.

Mid way through doing some corrective work on the car and putting a product called Cquartz on.

I detailed the car in August last year and it's still overall in very good condition - the roof needs some pretty major attention but the rest of the panels are still very good so only needed some light refinement.

Finished the front bumper, bonnet, both front wings and all the doors today. Got to do the roof, rear quarters and boot and rear bumper tomorrow as well as some other little tasks.

Gonna have loads of pics on the camera but one terrible potato mobile shot..

A few pictures after... what a faff. Including some localised wet sanding of the marks in the paintwork from the main dealer when they resprayed the bonnet. Also gave polishing the windscreen a bash which yielded some improvements, anyone who polishes would know glass is the hardest of all to polish up as it's the hardest bloody thing in the world.. normal polishes and pads won't even touch it....it was so distracting to drive at night or in evening sunset light but it's massively helped out rayon pads and cerium oxide based polishes in use

Also did some detailing work on Jairm's as well following Dubs in the Park so, been a very busy few days   :sad1:

Also... this might have happened... at a friends garage...

And it might have included a 3 inch center section as well...

big thanks to Michael for suppling me with his old de-cat stuff!! Just need a new rear box now... it sounds rude.
