GTi Front Bumper comes with OEM splitter or not?

As above, I had the car jacked up this weekend and noticed under the front of the bumper about 5 torx bolts with little bits of plastic lugs left on them and what ever they held gone!?  Does the GTi come with an additional front splitter from new?  If so, I think mine has gone and I'll have to replace it!!

Hi guys.

Interesting, looks like part of my front trim is missing!

I have the "side" parts of the front which runs under the fogs, then as this thins out, it looks like there is a small thin "lip" spoiler which screws onto the bumper.  It's this which is missing on my car!   :confused:

I took some pictures, but I'm useless and can't post them on here for some reason.......

Anyone got a part number for this???!

It sounds like you are missing just the small lip part of the splitter. I have never taken mine off but thought the lower splitter part was just one piece.

Compairing the pics to Kalpsn2000 I now feel naked!!!! :ashamed:

Need to buy a new part ASAP!

I don't think I want to know how the old one was torn off....... :confused:

You are missing this bit, below.

GTI spoiler turned upside down so you can see the splitter (in black)...



Part number is 1K0 807 110 9B9 from your local dealer.

Jetta one is unfortunatly completly different. Although the GTI splitter itself wont cost too much  :smiley: :happy2:

Is this also called the Euro Lip? I think my has one as standard. Hoping to upgrade to a votex or ed30

If adding the lip to the GT splitter, you'll need to mark out and cut where the locating "tabs" sit on the splitter. A dremel with a cut off wheel is ideal as its pretty much the same size (width). Although you'll have to fight it a bit to get them all to go in.
