One small improvement: Rotate the winning image just a fraction clockwise so that the 'letterbox' photo proportion is the same but it will straighten the central car (make more vertical) and even up the red wing cars (onto the same horizontal) as well as improve symmetry.
I'm assuming the original pic has plenty image top and bottom which was cropped.
If you agree but don't quite know how to do it, let me know.

thanks guys! and robin, yep i know exactly what you mean. it was made up of 12 high res photos, 4 top, 4 mid and 4 bottom. if you stitch all those together in photoshop, your looking at a file of over 400mb! it takes a mahoosive amount of ram to flip it around. but dont worry, ill sort it! ;)
