Does it use the same cam follower as a GTi, and is the part number 06D 109 309 C ?

Has anyone ever heard or one of these failing? I know it's good habbit to change them and I will change them regularly but never heard of one failing

Haha this questions has been asked sooooo many times! Yeh they do fail and when they do it happens rather spectacularly. Your camshaft also helps determine wear. I did 5000 miles on my cf and there was already a bit of excessive wear on it. I did boost it a lot but still!
