Very nice, is this for the other block you have? what sort of power increase do you think ull gain with the lot?
Yeah plan is to build a motor then drop it in when a couple of other bits im working on are ready.. Then its time to make some real power.. Aim is a solid 500Hp (proper HP not Disney rolling road HP) Revving to 8500rpm running around 26psi.. Thats the aim, we will see how it goes!
Are you adding the crank (pictured) also ?
Yup, not a normal crank though, 75CC more
haha are you serious jonny? good man
Do you think it will be fast than the S3 (0-60, 1/4 mile, in the twisties)?
Keep us posted
Lots faster I think.. I have taken the decision to go ALL OUT on this car now, hence the motor build.. Im aiming for the 10's in the 1/4 in 2010.. I know that seems stupidly fast, and it is.. But I have a serious amount of development going into the car.. Its going to be wild!!
sounds like it will be fast .
i had a knife-edged crank in my mk1 along with some cams and a lightened fly wheel , what a pig that was to keep idleing
Hope so!!
Yeah N/A with big lift cams, light crank and flywheel thats not a surprise.. Great thing with the 2.0T FSI and the Bosch ECU is that you have stock like driveability, even on larger injectors and big turbo.. Love it!
jesus christ, you need to get yorself in a clinic with your spending lol.
If your going the full hog What about the head and cams.
BDM do a ported Cylinder head http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=2702124
scrick do some cams
then there wouldnt be anything left to put on her then........
The head is being built with Ferrea valve train parts, being ported and polished and for now will be running stock cams, Im working on a set of much more aggressive cams than Schrick have to offer..
And You would be surprised what else is going to happen to this car, trust me
There is plenty else
