what turbo are you going to be using ?

i hear mrc are using a gt30 and getting 450 on a afaik std e30 engine

Im already using a GT3076R turbo by Owen developments.. All of the turbo kit hardware is already up and running and on the car.. Cant think what page now but the build is in here somewhere..

MRC are using a stock 3071R yeah, 450hp is about the limit of that turbo with the exhaust housing that there using.. The turbo im using will make 600hp no problems on this motor..
:jumping: 600 hp... so why you've chosen FWD car fo that ambitious plans? :popcornsoda:

Thats very much the end goal, and it is very possible to make it work.. Going for N/A type power delivery, with relatively low torque on set and peak power around the 8500rpm mark.. Super progressive, max torque around 400ft/lbs will make for a super driveable car but at the same time super fast when you rev it out..

Thats basically how the Turbo B16/B18/K20 Honda guys run such incredible times.. Lots of Civics in the states run mid to low 9's with FWD.. Theres more to it than just adding huge power and expecting to have a fast car as a result.. I know thats what some people think im doing, but its really not..

Any more updates?

So what size are they Jonny?
We talked to the Team Dynamics people on Saturday and I seem to remember the 1.3's were only in 8.5".  :surprised:
