You seem to be doing the right things. I hope VW sort it out for you.
My 140bhp gt tdi sport has done 83K on 08 plate without missing a beat, had 42K when i bought it oct11. But i dread seeing that DPF light come on. Would be interesting to know what miles others have got out of original DPF?
I have never replaced a clutch in any of my cars, last MK4 had 205,000 when i sold it. Surely once in top gear crusing, there is no clutch wear, but then never had DMF before either......

The 140 gt tdi dont have dpf fitted

My 2008 has, I think you will find it was an option on the 140, and as it was a company car, they had it fitted to save the planet
