Need front negative camber...

Well guys, talk to me about adjustable top mounts or any other way of getting front camber, got wheels that stick out too far.

How is the back camber adjusted?

Know a few people run top mounts, how much, where from etc..

front camber  you have a few options

1-TT lower control arms that will adjust to give you an additional 0.5 degrees negative camber totaling your car at -1.5 degrees

3- Top mounts, there are a few options available.
     Kmac
     KW
     AST
     H2sport( i just got hold of a set of these, not fitted yet though)

adjusting the rear camber is probably not wise without alignment gear to ensure they are set evenly

Im going to be running a pretty crazy offset, purchased some wheels as a bit of a challenge and now i want them fitted before edition38

i had my car initially lowered on coilovers first and ride was excellent in all conditions, when i had the big brake fitted i had to put 10mm spaces all round to get them to fit and match up at the back, looks good but the tight cornering and exit of roundabouts has been compromised.
 
i already got the walk kit, which of the two or both do you reckon will give the most noticeable improvement without raising the car?

IMO coilovers are great provided they are corner weighted and not to low otherwise you may as well go with a sports spring and shock.

My best mod so far is my eibach ARBs. they have made the car really neutral and controled in the bends at all speeds. My WALK is actually booked in to get fitted tomorrow. had it for ages but jst not fitted it.Im expecting alot from the WALK, and i should find out on saturday how good it is as im off back to the nurburgring for the day, i was down there earlier this week so will have a good comparison provided the heavens dont open up.

My issue at the moment iwould say is my brakes. they are fine for one lap of the ring but do not cool quick enough and then need ages to cool.  they were adequate for a few laps of uk track days though

thinking of going S3/R32 setup but wth tarox g88 discs and DS2500 pads, and braided hoses with some race spec fluid and tyrol caliper bushings

dont want to go off topic but the s3/r32 set up are very heavy, when i took of the stock gti brakes to fit the bbk i was amazed at the weight of them compared to the bbk especially considering the size of the stoptech's and the r32 ones are much heavier.

i heard in another topic vw racing are bringing out a newer more cost effective bbk kit I would look at those

i had the car corner weighted before the spacers and not after so is most probably the cause,

i have spacer which i bought on a spending binge, but havent fitted them and will prob sell them on. I liked the idea of a wider track but am sllightly dubious about them for some reason.

The problem with the S3 brakes is the weight but they are also half the price of pretty much everything else on the market and cheaper for replacment pads and discs, and wont be needing any spacers to fit them.
