Long time to warm start
« on: June 12, 2013, 08:11:15 pm »
Hi first post so please be gentle if I've done something wrong haha. I've got a 1.9tdi 54 plate golf mk5 and it seems that when the engine has got up to temperature and I switch off and back on (ie popping to shop) it's taking a long time to start. It's always started and it starts strongly it just seems to take a lot longer when the engine is warm than when the engine is cold which I thought is pretty weird. Is this something to be worried about? If so what should I look at getting done? Thanks
