Actuator replacement

I have pressure tested my actuator tonight & it won't hold any pressure so I am guessing that's where my power loss is.

How easy is it to change this? do I have to remove the turbo?

Also is the actuator a standard 2 bolt fitting? as I have a collins 1.2bar actuator here if it will fit#]

The actuator can be replaced without removing the turbo but it's a very tight and fiddly job. After install you'll need to log the car to assist correctly adjusting the pre-load pressure (done by loosening or tightening the actuator's nut).
Without traction power is nothing!

It's a 2 bolt fitment but I don't know if a universal one (fitment).
Without traction power is nothing!

 :scared: Right well I think I will try & fit this tomorrow a little worried it might be overkill though the actuator is a collins -31 whatever that means :S I have a hand held vac pump & it seems to crack at 0.7bar & fully open at 1.2bar

I don't think that actuator will work/fit on your car.

Well I changed it the other night what a bitch of a job that was! it pulls fine now until I hit 5k I think the spring is too hard in the actuator the power just goes flat for some reason  :ashamed:
