Rev N PCV vs BSH PCV

Ok, so I changed my PCV to the BSH solution as was not wholly convinced about a catch can and was told that on a tuned TFSI it was only a matter of time before the oem PCV kicked up problems.

Car has run fine with the BSH on it.

I see a few forum members now have the revised N PCV. What are the differences on the earlier one and when was this released?

Is it now generally accepted that the N might be better than the BSH fix or are they in effect both doing the same job?

From having both my car ran better with the N pcv. I was at stage 2+ for well over a year with no issues. The BSH was the best option with the earlier valves that were prone to fail. But the newer valves are more robust and do the job better now.

still dumps sh*t in the intake and its a big eyesore if you run without a cover

Are you referring to the rev n or the bsh?

Are you referring to the rev n or the bsh?

I suspect he's referring to the oem pcv.
Without traction power is nothing!

You still get oil in the intake using the bsh, as it gets pushed through from the rear breather hose when under boost. So the BSH revamp is pointless now the oe pcv valves are much stronger. You cant see the engine with the bonnet down so does it really matter what it looks like. Its not a beauty contest.

Is it worth pulling out the BSH revamp in that case and switching to the Rev N?

Having had both the revamp and catch can. The engine ran much smoother with the oe pcv valve on  :happy2:
