Just caught up with this thread. Great looking car. Where are you based out of interest? Noticed the Dunfermline dialling code on one of your rolling road print outs. Only ask because I'm originally from Dunfermline and visit fairly regular.

After your write up about Falkland, I'm thinking about letting them loose on my golf for a revo remap after Xmas.

Thanks, I think im being drawn more and more towards performance as well. I like the sound of stage 2!

Im actually based in Glasgow. Honestly cant speak highly enough of falkland, there were 2-3 people on my car solidly for two days when it was up. The difference after a stage 1 revo is excellent, feels like an entirely different car  :happy2:

Bit of an update completed today...

Managed to get myself some new brakes, calipers from a seat leon k1, ebc discs, and red stuff pads. Only driven the car home but what a mod it has been

Got some progress pics...

Before anyone notices, the discs are on the wrong side, they will be getting swapped over  :happy2:

How are the ebc discs? I've heard mixed reports, they look good though.

Ive actually only driven the car for around 15minutes since they have been swapped onto the right side and I cant fault them at all. I was told that a thing to look out for is the squeek that they cause but I havent heard any noise at all  :happy2:

Cheers! Unfortunately I've gotta get my rusty arches sorted first, hopefully vw will play ball!
