central locking problem
« on: June 17, 2013, 10:53:18 pm »
Doors are unlocking and locking themselves whilst driving, any ideas what this could be? Thanks

Best to start with a scan - look on this list for someone close to you to perform the scan

This will most likely give a fault code requiring a job similar to this to be performed

I had this exact issue - driving along and doors unlock and lock for no reason. For me I could also hear a clicking coming from the steering wheel colum like a relay going off. Had it plugged into VAGCOM and no issues were found. Was talking to Eddie and he mentioned it may be the inner ignition barrel. Replaced that and all good again
