Dsg shift points

Was curious as to what everyone thought about optimal shift points on a dsg? I am currently on stage 1 with milltek tbe evoms intake and mapped dsg box. Would be interesting to hear. I tend to change at 5.5k sometimes 6 but find power drops of beyond that although seem to get louder dsg farts at 6k   also would shift points change if i went stage 2?

Look at your dyno chart and find where the power starts to drop off... that would be your "optimum" shift points... although you are wasting over split hairs on the road.

K03 or K04??

Ko3 and i've not had it dyno'd yet as i bought it mapped but didn't get a dyno chart with it

Change at 6000 then.... K04 can be reved out about another 500-1000 RPM

As Jay says above, but just to add, DSG generally drops around 1500 rpm on each change, so you want to look at the optimum point to drop back into the next gear.eg 500 rpm after peak bhp point will drop you 1000rpm below your peak. For perfect shifting refer to your power graph and add the two shift point bhp's together, whichever gives you the highest total will be the best point to shift at.....if you follow what I'm trying to say!
