fuel leak
« on: June 19, 2013, 09:31:49 pm »
out of the. Our today no warning my fuel filter springs a leak no visable impact damage just leaking replaced in about 5 mins so easy fix but looking at the old one ? Still can't see where it leaked from

is this common ? My mate who replaced it is a vag tech he was surprised not to see a a dent or hole looks as if it corroded from the inside out and my car has full vw service history with 55K on the clock maybe ifs not a service item and been on there since new hence just worn out

check yours out  :happy2:
