A quick update of my slippery slope
« on: August 13, 2009, 04:43:42 pm »
Hi all,

Sorry its taken so long to update, but here goes.

Work so far:

Milltek 32 style exhaust
R32 Rear Lights
R32 Rear Bumper
R32 Side Skirts
Carbonio Intake
Front Valence sprayed Black Satin
Tinted rear reflectors

I'm now gonna try and save some money for alloys (18" or 19" ??? / Which alloys???  these are the big Questions).
In the meenwhile, I'm gonna get the Monza's refurb'd and painted satin black inside.

Any suggestions on the wheels are welcome  :happy2:

Refurb the monza II's and do the inserts Black, and them keep them. Will go really well with your car. With your colour it will contrast very well imo. Very subtle changes make all the difference.  :happy2:

Coming along nicely, quite a transformation!  :congrats:

What did you use to tint the rear reflectors?

Very nice MR Dubs.  :happy2:

And Wigit is right, fitting the R32 valance does something to the appearance of the monza,s  I loved my Monza'a but they lost something after the valance.
I would save up for some different ones.

Looking good chap. All you need to do now is the R32 engine and transmission mods and you'll be done  :innocent:

Thanks for the comments guys,

New wheels is deffinately on the agenda, but a refurb and paint is for now.

The reflectors were done with tint spray that I found in my garage.
