I was at the local stealer in Chelmsford the weekend looking at rooco's for the other halfs next car and try had a TR GTI out front and it just didnt do anything for me. The Rocco r on te other hand did but unfortunately she needs a diesel

Nice choice

Common rail 170tdi is a great engine  :happy2:

My local dealer has a Candy white Mk7 GTI in. Was sold within 2hrs  :surprised: guy came in, asked how much then handed over his debit card  :congrats:

The A45 AMG is taking some honours at the moment. Granted it's expensive, but so is a well specified MK7.

Interesting that Mr sutcliffe says that he thinks the Vw is Better then the 135i.... :popcornsoda:

Wonder what the Mk7 GTi would be like with a stage 2 remap against that Merc on a hill climb.... Much closer race I think !

I fancy an Edition 40 on a PCP in 2017 , its probably the only way I can afford a new GTI , I should have 4 or 5k saved up by then ,  plus my GTI.

You said you would take 15k for your edition 30, the £15k payment mentioned earlier was for a 3 year old car

for extra £10-15k i'd go for this

Those are 50k new so extra 20k!

People moaning about the GTI price, you haven't accounted for the haggling discount. Knock 10% off that car once it's been out a year or so.

Well my post stated if someone gave me about £4k more than my car is worth i would buy a MK7 GTI. Nothing to do with the earlier post , just that it would equate to a £4k discount on a Mk7 GTI bringing it down to around £24k ish and hence i would consider buying one .
