Standing start DSG
« on: August 14, 2009, 08:57:59 pm »
Hi everyone, first time here, looks like a great forum :happy2:

Does anyone feel that its hard to do a quick standing start with the DSG gear box?
Ive tried launch control but it doesnt feel natural.

Love putting it into sports mode just before I get to a roundabout

Welcome to the forum Spiker.  :happy2:

The best method for the launch control is just use lower revs somewhere about 2000 should see you flying off the line

Thanks, I sometimes think that Im going to wear out the gear box if I leave it in drive and put revs on, so I end up taking it out of gear then the lights change lol

Just like this!

As you well know MR greenouse its not just about getting off the line. Yes you knobbled me over 100yds   :notworthy: as the photo's show.
But you got left behind when your fat girls lardy arse needed some speed.

I have posted my time over the full race period.  :innocent: I am guessing you wont post yours up. I wonder why.  :pomppomp:

Instead you will post a couple more pics of the only time during the race where you were in front.  :indifferent:
