RCD 510 and bluetooth
« on: June 23, 2013, 04:35:54 pm »
I have a RCD factory fitted to my gti. I originally thought there was a bluetooth module fitted under the passenger seat, but after checking, find its an a Blaupunkt amp for the dynaudio system. It doeshave 3 small microphones near the interior light panel.

If I go to the setup menu it allows me to tick 'enable bluetooth' but when I go to the media selection, bluetooth is greyed out.

Any ideas?

Its a mk6 2009.

As your car is a mk6 I think you've probably mistaken the interior alarm sensors in front of the interior light for the microphones you refer to. If I'm right then you probably don't have any Bluetooth module in the car.
